HannahMade in San Francisco!

So this is it! The first long distance adventure for HannahMade! Of course, it wouldn't be nearly as fun of a journey without Michelle and we're both so excited for our first road trip and a show full of amazing vendors.

If you or anyone you know is going to be in the area please stop by and say hello!

My First Custom ID Bracelet!

As I dive deeper in to the world of PMC I have been asked to create some delightful custom pieces. One of which is this ID bracelet for my friend Lisa in Portland, Oregon.

The initials are for her husband Robert, herself, and her little baby, Jack. This is my first ID bracelet and it was an exciting challenge. I hand engraved the initials and the hearts which definitely have an "organic" look to them. I strung the bracelet in an interlaced pattern with faceted labradorite to make it both pretty and sturdy. The barrel clasp is one of my favorites, especially for bracelets. It's super strong and looks really cool!

I'm happy to say that it came out so cool I am now offering it on my Etsy shop! yay!

Thank you, Lisa, for being a wonderful muse!

HannahMade and Michelle Caplan Unite!

I'm so excited to announce the collaboration of HannahMade and Michelle Caplan!

I have recently started creating with PMC (precious metal clay) to add to my collection of jewelry. Each pendant is hand sculpted and fired to its hardened pure silver form.

I am always inspired by Michelle's work and we've been talking about making it into wearable pendants for a while now! The time has finally come!

This piece is a crop from her Collage Lab piece called "Jump for Joy."

You can purchase this and other art pendants in my etsy shop.

ABBOT KINNEY FESTIVAL!

Ok, I'm super excited to announce that I will be in this year's Abbot Kinney Festival with my esteemed booth partner Michelle Caplan! We have been anticipating their response for quite some time and 2 nights ago, just before bed, you know when you just take one more peek at emails and such...well, there it was! The golden acceptance letter to a festival I have admired as a visitor for many years.

SPC - Patterns Week 3
Ok! I finally did it! I had joined a while ago but now I'm an active member of Self Portrait Challenge Tuesday! This month's challenge is patterns...
Funny, obscure, not completely obvious and a little risque :)
This is going to be fun!

Artist Every Month! I am honored to announce that I have been selected to launch Artist Every Month at p!ay hair lounge in Simi Valley, California. Not only is this the most dope funky fresh salon in the West, but Brig "extraordinaire" loves to spread the word to support her local artist!

With this opportunity I am also launching The HannahMade Guide to Flowers and Plants as well as displaying my new chakra necklaces and lots of fun earrings! The few times I've been back since setting up I've been tickled to see girls in foil trying earrings on!

Each month p!ay will feature artists from every craft; jewelry, collage, knitting, painting, and the list goes on and on! Brig, you ROCK!

Etsy Treasury "All You Need Is Love"

There is something so enjoyable about searching through thousands of artists on Etsy and having to narrow them down to 16 that represent a topic of your choice.
Getting your own Treasury on Etsy is no small feat. You must have patients galore and a name in mind...once you type you can't go back.

I was fortunate enough to get a treasury this week and chose the topic of love.
As in the image above by Michelle Caplan, I was able to find the sweetest hugs and loveliest sentiments on creations ranging from fine art and pocket mirrors to clothing and softies.

Please take a closer look and feel the love!
All You Need Is Love

Hopefully I'll snag another one tonight!

Hooray for Felt Club!
I don't have the energy for photos and fancy links right now, but that's only because Felt Club spent me to glorious exhaustion. Thank you Jenny, for doing your part to help us all succeed. I am so grateful for this experience and hope to see today set the standard for crafters' support everywhere!
